What are the responsibilities and job description for the Salon Manager/Receptionist position at mitchell James salon?
Mitchell James salon is seeking a full time manager/ receptionist. We are located just East of the Galleria and a full service salon. The successful candidate must possess incredible organization and people skills, be able to multi task, have knowledge of Spa and salon software and/or Microsoft office, Word, Excel, and be completely savvy in all social media aspects...Facebook, Twitter,Instagram...etc. We are a very busy full service salon. Friendliness, smiling, a good sense of style, patience, and good references are a must. We have many ages and personalities in our salon...one must be able to acclimate to these. The pay is $17 a hour based on a 40 hour work week. There are 2 evenings, and 1 Saturday a month required. We are open from 8:30am-9pm. It is imperative our new manager has experience, and at least a 2 year degree in management or similar. Holidays are paid, however there are no health benefits.
