Compensation:$30 - $35 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists and hygienists chairside during a variety of procedures
- Anticipate provider needs and prepare appropriate instruments, materials, and trays for procedures
- Prepare and break down operatories with attention to infection control and efficiency
- Take digital X-rays and assist with intraoral scanning as needed
- Accurately chart patient care and assist with real-time clinical documentation (scribing)
- Help maintain a smooth, organized clinical flow across multiple providers and rooms
- Support patient comfort by providing reassurance and clear communication throughout appointments
- Maintain equipment, instruments, and supplies for daily readiness
Qualifications:
Skills & Experience That Support Success in This Role
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an RDA in a general dental practice
- Experience with dental practice management software (EagleSoft strongly preferred)
- Current RDA license, X-ray certification, and Coronal Polishing certification
- Strong clinical awareness and ability to stay organized in a busy environment
- Comfortable supporting multiple providers and adjusting throughout the day
- Experience with or openness to chairside charting/scribing
- Detail-oriented with the ability to listen, assist, and document simultaneously
- Reliable, team-oriented, and consistent in follow-through
- Clear communication skills and a calm, professional presence
