Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with safety regulations.
- Manage patient records, scheduling, and follow-up appointments efficiently.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care to promote better health.
- Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to enhance patient experience.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction.
- Stay updated on dental techniques and technologies to improve service delivery.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program preferred.
- Current California Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant license required.
- Experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor with patients.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus.
- Proficient in using dental software and technology.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and maintaining confidentiality.
- Must be able to work once a month Saturday.
