WAREHOUSE FORKLIFT OPERATOR JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking, forklift operator to join our day shift team. As a Warehouse Forklift Operator, your main responsibility will be to efficiently and accurately load and unload shipments in our warehouse. You will be responsible for organizing inventory, checking orders for accuracy, and ensuring that all items are properly secured for transport.
Schedule: Monday - Friday / 6:30am - 3:00pm
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload shipments of products from delivery trucks.
- Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse.
- Package and label products for shipping.
- Operate forklifts or other machinery to assist with loading and unloading.
- Always follow proper safety procedures.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
