We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and manage our housekeeping team. The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee daily operations, coordinate cleaning activities, and maintain high-quality standards across all areas.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards
- Schedule staff shifts and assign tasks based on occupancy levels and operational needs
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures and equipment use
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels
- Implement and maintain effective floor care routines including carpet cleaning, waxing, polishing, and other specialized cleaning tasks
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special projects or deep-cleaning initiatives
Experience
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hotel, hospitality, or janitorial environment
- Strong background in cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning, and custodial services
- Familiarity with hotel operations and hospitality standards is highly desirable
- Experience supervising teams, training staff, and managing schedules effectively
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to janitorial equipment and chemical handling is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
