FUNCTION
The Director of the Missouri Slope Foundation is responsible for leading the fundraising programs on behalf of the Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center Foundation (the Foundation) and enhancing the mission established by the Board of Directors.
The role works closely with the Foundation Board and participates in other appropriate committees at the invitation of the CEO.
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**
Manages the development programs aimed at optimizing major gifts, estate gifts, corporate gifts, grants, and events.
Collaborates
closely
with
high-level
management
and
board
members
to
implement
and
manage development programs.
Actively participates in the daily tasks of development programs and records activities using CRM
software.
Prepares
and
submits
monthly
reports
detailing
activities
and
program
outcomes.
Solicits,
develops,
and
engages
Foundation
board
members
through
verbal
and
written
communication.
Attends
board
meetings
and
prepares
reports
on
Foundation
activity.
Plans and budgets for the Foundation each fiscal year by developing a staffing and operational plan to achieve the Foundation's goals and growth.
Maintains
visibility
in
the
community,
including
participation
and
membership
in
civic
and professional organizations.
Actively seeks
new
corporate and foundation funding
sources
while maintaining
relationships
with current and past donors by representing
Missouri Slope in meetings
with potential funding
sources.
Manages
ongoing
communication
with
member
churches
and
congregations.
Works collaboratively with staff and board members to identify avenues for economic support for programs and projects.
