Job Summary:
Provide day-to-day technical support to clinical staff, assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and help maintain IT systems to ensure reliable technology operations. This role will contribute to a responsive IT environment that supports patient care, safeguards data, and promotes continuous improvement in end-user experience.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide frontline technical support for clinic staff via phone, in person, or through ticketing system
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on workstations, laptops, and printers
- Set up new devices and ensure proper configuration based on Missouri Highland standards
- Assist with user account management in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other systems
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and coordinate replacements or repairs as needed
- Support EMR/EHR system troubleshooting (training provided)
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or third-party support when needed
- Perform routine system updates, device imaging, and endpoint maintenance
- Maintain documentation of processes, issues, and solutions
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of information technology and information technology systems, including; Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and networking concepts
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with end users who may have varying levels of tech familiarity
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
- Valid Missouri Driver’s License with good driving record.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s degree in related field, or tech certificate, strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a healthcare or clinical setting, preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Athena, Epic), preferred.
- CompTIA A or similar entry-level certification, preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA best practices regarding technology use, preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
