What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse & IT Asset Recovery Technician position at Red Leaf IT Asset Recovery & Recycling?
Red Leaf IT Asset Recovery & Recycling is looking for a dependable, hands-on team member to join our growing operation. This position is a mix of warehouse work, IT equipment processing, shipping, and occasional pickup/delivery work.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive a box truck and assist with customer pickups and equipment removal
- Load and unload computers, monitors, servers, networking equipment, and other electronics
- Sort, test, decommission, and process used IT equipment
- Harvest usable parts and components
- Package and ship outbound orders
- Move pallets using a pallet jack
- Safely handle equipment of varying sizes and weights
- Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and efficient
- Work as part of a team to ensure equipment is processed accurately and safely
What We’re Looking For:
- Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn
- Comfortable with physical work and heavy lifting
- Organized and able to pay attention to detail
- Patient and able to work carefully with a variety of equipment
- Basic knowledge of computers, IT equipment, components, or shipping is a plus
- Class E or CDL license preferred, or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to safely drive a box truck or willingness to learn
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics, electronics, or IT experience is helpful but not required
This is a hands-on position—you’ll be moving equipment, getting your hands dirty, learning about technology, and helping keep usable equipment out of the landfill. If you like staying busy, working with a team, and don't mind that no two days look exactly the same, we'd love to hear from you.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
