Position: Project Manager
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Sikeston, MO (_On-site only – No remote work)_
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours per week). May require some flexible hours for outreach and community events.
Salary Range: High 40s- low 50s (Negotiable based on education and experience)
Program Summary- MBRC Fatherhood First Partnership, a new five-year federal grant program designed to strengthen families by engaging adult fathers (ages 18 and older), individuals, and couples through evidence-based parenting education, case management, employment readiness, and supportive services in: Dunklin, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot, and Scott counties.
Position: Project Manager will work closely with the Project Director and provide leadership, coordination, and day-to-day management. Responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of program activities, achievement of grant goals, and outcomes. Will supervise and train staff and coordinate services across counties and ensure high-quality service delivery to fathers, individuals, and couples. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, enjoys working with families, and excels at building and maintaining community relationships.
Candidates selected for an interview should be prepared to discuss and demonstrate their relevant skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, implementation and ongoing program management of fatherhood programming.
- Maintain confidentiality of all information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Work closely with the data team to monitor performance measures and data requirements.
- Assist with progress reports and other documentation required by the funder.
- Foster a team-oriented environment.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships and ensure coordination of services that support long-term parenting & relationship, behavior change, employment success, and family stability.
- Lead outreach strategies to recruit and retain fathers, and couples in the target counties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, Human Services, Public Administration, Education, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3–5 years of management-supervision experience preferred with federally or state-funded grants or social service programs.
- Demonstrated experience supervising staff, managing multi-site or regional programs.
- Strong knowledge of fatherhood initiatives, family strengthening, workforce development, or related human services.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including Public Speaking.
· Experience working with Microsoft Office Suites- Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with adult fathers, couples, or family-centered programs.
- Familiarity with data collection systems and performance measurement.
- Knowledge of the communities served in Scott, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot, and Dunklin counties.
- Experience building cross-sector partnerships.
