We are currently seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at our Downtown location.
Responsibilities
- Process, code, and file vendor invoices, ensuring proper approval and accurate payment.
- Prepare payments and maintain supporting documentation in accordance with accounting procedures.
- Reconcile vendor statements, resolve invoice discrepancies, and manage credit memos.
- Maintain accurate vendor records, contracts, and related documentation.
- Assist with month-end close, account reconciliations, fixed asset tracking, and general ledger research.
- Process required tax payments accurately and on time.
- Communicate with department managers and vendors to resolve billing and payment issues.
- Support the Accounting Manager and CFO with special projects and other accounting-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
- Experience in or exposure to the private club industry preferred.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrates business ethics and strong critical thinking skills.
