Job Summary:
The General Labor employee is responsible for handling, sorting, and packaging small parts and materials in a manufacturing environment. This position requires attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks safely and efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle and sort small parts and materials.
- Run a band saw and drill press
- Count, organize, label, and package parts.
- Run a forklift
- Load and unload materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Use basic hand tools and production equipment as required.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies.
- Meet production, quality, and attendance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or general labor experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to handle small parts accurately and efficiently.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to perform repetitive work.
- Reliable and dependable with good attendance.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift materials as required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and work for extended periods.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle small parts.

Work Environment:
