What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Assistant position at Mississippi Methodist Senior Services, Inc?
The duties and responsibilities of the Maintenance Assistant are to assist the Director of Maintenance and/or the Executive Director in providing routine tasks in efforts to maintain all building, equipment and property of the campus in the proper working condition, in accordance with federal, state and local laws, regulations and company policy procedures; maintains the interior/exterior of facility and grounds as established in the overall maintenance plan.
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 10th grade education or comparable work experience and work related education. Must meet minimum age requirements of the State of Mississippi; six months experience working in grounds maintenance and/or general facilities maintenance; must be able to perform skills as learned through on-the-job training; must be able to read, write and understand verbal and written instructions.
