What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift General Laborer position at Mississippi Laser, Inc.?
Mississippi Laser is looking for a 1st shift general laborer responsible for helping in multiple areas, including, but not limited to:
Training on a Fiber Laser
Bending parts on a brake press
Pulling parts off of a laser table, Packaging and preparing for Shipment or next process
Grinding, prepping, cleaning, hanging, and packaging parts in a paint/powder shop.
Shift is 7AM-3:30PM and all areas will be trained on as needed. Forklift operation experience, caliper and tape measure reading knowledge preferred. Occasional overtime and Saturdays required.
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge, Manufacturing, and Assembly skills are required for this position.
- Experience operating a Forklift is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools is necessary.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with calipers and press brake machines is beneficial for this role.
