Paint Prep Technician
Mississippi Laser is seeking a dependable, hard-working Paint Prep Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, first-shift position working Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
As a Paint Prep Technician, you will play an important role in preparing metal parts for the finishing process while ensuring quality and efficiency throughout production.
Responsibilities
- Clean metal parts using hand tools and other cleaning equipment
- Pressure wash parts as needed to remove debris and contaminants
- Hang and remove parts from paint racks
- Count, sort, and organize parts for production and shipment
- Package finished products for delivery
- Inspect parts for cleanliness and quality before painting
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Assist with other production tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the workday
- Dependable attendance and positive attitude
- Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate
