Duties/Responsibilities
The **Human Resource Specialist** will assist the Generalist or Manger in daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Coordinates applicant interviews with the facility in need and facilitates appointments for on-site interviews with hiring managers.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; and training and development.
- Administers and provides reporting for employee recognition programs.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from associates, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Assists Training Manager in coordinating training and documentation for required recordkeeping compliance and State or Federal training reimbursement.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field a plus.
- Human resource administrative experience a plus.
- SHRM-CP a plus.
