Military Admissions Liaison at the Office of Military and Veterans' Services (Fordham University)

MissionWise seeks a Military Admissions Liaison who will support military-affiliated applicants by coordinating admissions, veterans services, and financial aid to resolve complex cases and ensure a smooth path to enrollment. In this role, the Military Admissions Liaison will serve as a member of the Office of Military and Veterans' Services (OVMS), but will be embedded in the Admissions Office.

• Provide guidance and support to prospective and admitted military-affiliated students throughout the admissions and enrollment process.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration with admissions, veterans services, and other campus partners to support student needs.
• Contribute to outreach, events, and communications focused on military-connected populations.
• Provide programmatic support to initiatives that enhance access, enrollment, and success for military-affiliated students.
• Assist in addressing complex or non-standard applicant situations in coordination with relevant campus offices.
• Maintain appropriate records and documentation related to applicant engagement and support activities.
• Participate in process improvement, training, and resource development efforts as appropriate.
• Perform additional responsibilities and other duties as assigned in support of program and institutional goals, including occasional evening or weekend activities.

• Experience working with military-affiliated students, veterans, or military education benefits (e.g., VA benefits, military transcripts, transfer credit, or prior learning assessment)
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple offices 
• Strong knowledge of military culture, terminology, service pathways, and the unique challenges faced by military-connected applicants
• Proficient skills and working knowledge of cloud-based and computer software systems, including slate, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and team communication applications 
• Ability to work in the U.S. 
• Bachelor's degree required
• Direct connection to the military is strongly preferred

• $80-90K

• This is a hybrid role, with work expected to be performed on campus at Fordham University in Manhattan three days per week and remotely otherwise. Travel between Fordham’s Rosehill and Lincoln campuses will be required as well as travel to other locations connected to Fordham and to military-connected sites.

• While employed by MissionWise, this position will be embedded in the Admissions Office and reports directly to the Senior Associate Vice President and Dean of Admission. The position will coordinate with and be supported by the Senior Director of Military & Veterans’ Higher Education Engagement & Transition at Fordham University
