MissionHires is partnering with a growing technology services firm to hire a ServiceNow Developer with deep CMDB expertise. This hybrid role is based in Chandler, AZ (Greater Phoenix) with occasional in-person client meetings. You will build and optimize CMDB capabilities, implement Discovery and Service Mapping, and drive integrations across ITSM/ITOM/ITAM/SAM to enhance asset visibility and IT operations.
How You'll Contribute
- Design, develop, and configure CMDB-related functionality within ServiceNow
- Implement and tune ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping for accurate CI data
- Build and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, and JDBC
- Create and manage identification and reconciliation rules, CI relationship models, and MID Server configurations
- Collaborate across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and/or SAM to ensure data consistency and integration
- Troubleshoot CMDB, Discovery, and integration issues end-to-end
- Support platform upgrades and participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives)
- Produce technical documentation, solution designs, and best practices
- 3 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer or Engineer
- Deep knowledge of CMDB architecture, Discovery patterns, and CI relationships
- Proficiency with JavaScript, Glide APIs, and Flow Designer
- Experience with at least one ServiceNow module: ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, or SAM
- Strong understanding of integration protocols (REST, SOAP, JDBC)
- Ability to create technical documentation and solution designs
- Based in or able to work hybrid in Chandler, AZ (Greater Phoenix) with occasional client on-sites
