MissionHires is partnering with a leading healthcare organization to hire a Senior Revenue Analyst (Healthcare) who will serve as a subject matter expert for net revenue analytics, reimbursement methodologies, and financial reporting. This hybrid role (primarily remote with ~1 on-site day per week in the Houston area) will lead monthly close activities, mentor junior analysts, drive revenue reserve methodologies, support audits, evaluate managed care performance, and contribute to system/process improvements. Hands-on experience with Kodiak (Crowe) is required.
- Lead and mentor junior analysts on complex net revenue topics
- Support monthly close: data validation, trend analysis, and variance explanations
- Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Assist in developing and refining revenue reserve methodologies
- Prepare reports and schedules for external audits and financial reporting
- Evaluate managed care contract performance and reimbursement trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance leadership
- Participate in system implementations and process improvement initiatives
- Stay current on regulatory and reimbursement changes impacting net revenue
- Engage with industry user groups related to revenue cycle systems
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in net revenue analysis
- Strong knowledge of revenue accounting principles
- Experience with reimbursement structures across commercial and government payors
- Proficiency in financial data analysis and reporting
- Hands-on experience with Kodiak (Crowe) (required)
- Ability to work onsite in the Houston area as needed
- Preferred: CPA or advanced degree
- Preferred: Experience with Excel, Lawson, EPSI, or similar financial platforms
- Preferred: Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
