MissionHires is seeking an IT Cyber Supervisor (Manufacturing) to lead day-to-day cybersecurity operations, guide a team of analysts and technical staff, and ensure compliance with frameworks such as NIST, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and SOX. This hands-on leader will coordinate incident response, IAM, vulnerability remediation, security awareness, and cloud/infrastructure security across Microsoft Azure and M365 environments while partnering closely with IT, compliance, and vendors to safeguard enterprise systems and data.
- Supervise daily cybersecurity operations including monitoring, incident response, threat mitigation, and access management
- Lead, mentor, and develop cybersecurity analysts, security coordinators, and technical support staff
- Prioritize and coordinate operational cybersecurity tasks to ensure timely execution and resolution
- Monitor and optimize enterprise security controls to improve security posture
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards
- Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, HIPAA, ISO 27001, SOX, and related requirements
- Support audit readiness, compliance assessments, and remediation efforts
- Maintain documentation for security operations, risk assessments, access reviews, and incidents
- Develop and maintain SSPs, POA&Ms, and compliance artifacts
- Coordinate incident response: investigation, containment, remediation, and reporting
- Assist with vulnerability management, pen test coordination, and remediation tracking
- Identify risks and support mitigation strategies with IT and application teams
- Supervise provisioning, de-provisioning, and periodic access reviews for enterprise systems
- Enforce access control and least privilege policies; support audit requirements
- Produce cybersecurity and IAM operational metrics, KPIs, and status reports
- Support cloud security initiatives for Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
- Assist in monitoring SIEM, endpoint security, DLP, and firewall environments
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to maintain secure networks and servers
- Promote organization-wide security awareness and deliver training initiatives
- Engage cross-functional teams and vendors to advance cybersecurity objectives
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems, or related field
- 3 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, information security, or enterprise IT operations
- Prior supervisory experience in cybersecurity or IT operations (preferred)
- Experience in regulated environments (healthcare, government, telecom, pharmaceutical) strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience supporting security compliance initiatives and audits
- Knowledge of IAM, SIEM (Azure Sentinel preferred), Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 security
- Experience with DLP, vulnerability management, risk assessments, and incident response
- Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, DNS, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Active Directory and Azure AD
- Familiarity with disaster recovery and business continuity concepts
- Certifications preferred: ITIL Foundations, CompTIA Security , CISSP, Microsoft Azure Security; CEH a plus
- Strong supervisory, coordination, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Effective written and verbal communication with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments and collaborate with stakeholders
