How You'll Contribute
- Lead and manage all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and initiatives across the facility
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
- Drive a proactive safety culture focused on prevention, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations; implement corrective actions
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees and leadership teams
- Oversee workers’ compensation, injury management, and return-to-work programs
- Maintain and improve environmental compliance programs, including waste management and reporting
- Partner with operations and engineering teams to ensure safe processes, equipment, and facility changes
- Track, analyze, and report key EHS metrics and KPIs to leadership
- Lead and mentor EHS team members and safety committees
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- 5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, with Tier 1 automotive experience required (non-negotiable)
- Proven experience supporting high-volume, fast-paced production environments
- Strong expertise in OSHA compliance, audits, and regulatory reporting
- Hands-on experience with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
- Demonstrated success in reducing safety incidents and driving a strong safety culture
- Experience working closely with plant leadership and production teams to influence and implement safety initiatives
- Strong understanding of environmental compliance and safety management systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills across all levels of the organization
- Experience in unionized environments is a strong plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Salary : $140,000 - $150,000
