What are the responsibilities and job description for the Risk Advisor position at Mission Staffing?
Our client, a well know Commercial Bank in Dallas, TX, is looking to add a Risk Advisor to their Direct Lending team. This person will be responsible for ensuring that the consumer and commercial lending team is complying with internal policies and regulatory policies with a focus on Truth in Lending Act Reg Z, SCRA, and flood requirements. Additional responsibilities include helping to update existing internal policies and procedures, support regulatory exams and audits, and evaluate ongoing risk assessments for the Direct Lending team. The ideal candidate will come with at least five years' experience in direct lending risk and subject matter expertise in consumer lending regulations including Reg Z, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Flood requirements.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing risk advisory guidance to the firm's commercial and consumer lending business lines
- Ensuring compliance with several direct lending regulations, especially Reg Z, SCRA, and flood requirements
- Evaluating risk assessments and supporting regulatory examinations and audits
Requirements:
- At least five years' experience in risk advisory for commercial and consumer lending at a large bank
- Subject matter expertise in direct lending regulations including Fair Credit Reporting Act, SCRA, RESPA, and flood requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Salary : $45 - $50
