**Part-time Opportunity**
Our client, a rapidly growing publicly traded fintech company in New York City, is seeking a Capital Markets Reporting Associate to support its Structured Finance and Capital Markets team. The group has completed more than $40B in Asset-Backed Securitization (ABS) transactions and is looking for an analytical professional to manage investor reporting and support securitization transactions throughout the post-closing lifecycle. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in capital markets reporting, structured finance, investor reporting, treasury, financial operations, trustee services, or accounting. Candidates with broader structured credit experience (e.g., MBS, CMBS, CLOs, RMBS) will also be considered, provided they have reporting experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and review weekly and monthly investor reports for ABS, pass-through, revolving, and forward flow transactions.
- Coordinate with trustees and external partners to ensure timely reporting, reconciliations, and post-closing support.
- Support securitization transactions by compiling, validating, and summarizing loan-level data for internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner with Capital Markets, Treasury, Finance, Risk, Operations, and Business teams on reporting initiatives and special projects.
- Assist with onboarding new funding partners, transactions, and asset classes.
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve reporting processes using Excel, SQL, Python, and AI-driven solutions.
- Develop scalable reporting procedures and maintain process documentation.
- Investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in Capital Markets Reporting, Investor Reporting, Structured Finance, Treasury, Financial Operations, Trustee Services, or Accounting.
- Experience supporting ABS, securitizations, structured finance transactions, or other structured credit products preferred.
- Candidates with reporting experience supporting MBS, CMBS, CLOs, RMBS, or similar structured products will also be considered.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Experience with SQL and/or Python is preferred (or a strong willingness to learn).
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
Salary : $55 - $60
