What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Analyst position at Mission Staffing?
Our client, a very successful hedge fund in Greenwich, CT, is looking to add a Loan Analyst to their team. This person will be responsible for all operational and accounting functions in support of the firm's public and private loan fund business, including loan amortization, valuation, and data administration. The ideal candidate will come with at least five years' experience in Loan Servicing for an established hedge fund, strong ABS and MBS product knowledge, and advanced knowledge of loan amortization and CECL calculations.
Responsibilities Include:
- Extracting, reconciling, and verifying loan and CUSIP data using SQL and Excel
- Running various accounting and finance functions including loan amortization, valuation, and CECL calculations
- Running Excel reports in support of the firm's ABS and MBS funds
Requirements:
- At least five years' experience in loan servicing and administration for an established investment firm
- Advanced fixed income product knowledge with a focus on loan amortization, CECL calculations, and fund valuations
- Advanced technical capabilities in SQL and Excel
Salary : $48 - $50
