A New York City–based asset management firm is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to a senior Managing Director.
This role sits at the center of a fast-moving investment platform and requires a highly organized, anticipatory professional who can stay several steps ahead. The ideal candidate is confident supporting senior leadership in a demanding environment and excels at managing shifting priorities with precision and discretion.
Responsibilities include:
- Owning a complex, ever-changing calendar and resolving scheduling conflicts proactively
- Coordinating end-to-end domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries
- Managing expense reporting with accuracy and timeliness
- Acting as a key liaison between the Managing Director and internal/external counterparts
- Anticipating needs and helping streamline daily priorities and workflow
- Preparing and refining presentations, memos, and other executive materials
- Supporting broader team coordination and handling special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of Executive Assistant experience supporting senior executives, ideally within asset management, hedge funds, private equity, investment banking, or similar financial services environments
- Strong track record of managing high-volume calendars and complex travel logistics
- Excellent judgment, communication skills, and professional presence
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfortable operating in a high-pressure, fast-paced setting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Discreet, reliable, and proactive approach to supporting senior leadership
