What are the responsibilities and job description for the BDC Senior Controller position at Mission Staffing?
Leading Global Credit Fund in NYC that is looking to hire a BDC Senior Controller.
The role will provide a lot of exposure to the front office team and C-Suite, and will take on a leading role within a rapidly growing BDC.

Responsibilities:
• Lead quarterly and annual financial reporting under U.S. GAAP
• Oversee SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and related disclosures.
• Manage accounting for complex credit investments, including direct lending, structured credit, joint ventures, and non-accrual or restructured loans.
• Oversee monthly NAV calculations and portfolio accounting accuracy.
• Own the implementation and ongoing execution of valuation policies and procedures.
• Coordinate valuation processes with investment teams and third-party valuation firms.
• Prepare valuation analyses and materials for Board review and approval.
• Support CFO and Audit Committee with financial reporting, valuation, and audit materials.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting and valuation.
• Drive improvements in accounting systems, processes, and reporting as the platform scales.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the BDC accounting and reporting team.
• Partner with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and new investment structures
Salary : $200,000 - $400,000
