Attorney | Complex Commercial Litigation | Hybrid | 148681

The Litigation Associate will manage complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution. This role offers significant hands-on experience and direct involvement in litigation strategy, discovery, depositions, court appearances, mediations, negotiations, and trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial litigation matters throughout all stages of litigation
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and related filings
• Conduct legal research and case analysis
• Develop and implement a litigation strategy
• Manage discovery and motion practice
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Participate in hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
• Maintain direct communications with clients
• Collaborate with attorneys across offices
• Assist with witness preparation and trial preparation

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of commercial litigation experience
• Experience handling contract disputes preferred
• Experience handling business tort matters preferred
• Proven ability to manage cases from inception through resolution
• Strong deposition experience required
• Trial preparation experience preferred
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active California State Bar admission
• Strong writing, research, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Client-facing experience strongly preferred

Compensation

• Base salary: $240,000 – $275,000
• Bonus eligibility tied to billable-hour thresholds
• Approximately $50,000 bonus at 1,920 hours
• Additional approximately $50,000 bonus opportunity at 2,100 hours
• Potential total compensation of approximately $340,000 , depending on experience and hours worked
