Lead Elevated Carry-Out Experiences at Mission Point Resort
At Mission Point Resort, our farm to ferry pizza concept delivers artisan craftsmanship, premium ingredients, and a streamlined, high-quality carry-out experience. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Pizza Manager to oversee daily operations, inspire our team, and ensure every guest enjoys exceptional service—quickly, accurately, and with genuine hospitality.
About the Role
The Pizza Manager is responsible for managing and training staff, coordinating kitchen production and order flow, overseeing inventory and financial performance, and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment focused exclusively on takeout service. You will ensure:

What We’re Looking For
Experience:
Previous restaurant or upscale fast-casual management experience required. Experience in high-volume carry-out or quick-service environments preferred. Strong background in staff training, scheduling, inventory control, and cost management required. Scratch-kitchen or artisan pizza experience is a plus.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, culinary arts, or related field preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with restaurant POS systems, online ordering platforms, scheduling software, Microsoft Office, and basic financial management (food cost controls, labor management, inventory tracking).
Guest Service:
Energetic, efficient, and guest-focused. Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage peak rush periods while maintaining professionalism.
Leadership & Professional Traits:
Reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and capable of motivating a team in a fast-paced, production-focused environment. Leads by example and maintains composure under pressure.
Safety & Compliance:
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and workplace safety protocols. Ability to maintain a clean, compliant, and organized kitchen and service area.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and move quickly and safely in a busy kitchen environment.
Location Requirement:
Must be able to live and work on Mackinac Island during the season.
