Commercial Plumbing Apprentice
Mission Plumbing is seeking a motivated Commercial Plumbing Apprentice to join our growing team. We specialize in commercial plumbing projects throughout Colorado and are looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career in the plumbing trade.
As a Commercial Plumbing Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced plumbers on large commercial projects. Before each project begins, you'll review blueprints with management to understand the scope of work, schedule, and project goals. Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of plumbing systems on new commercial construction projects.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on commercial plumbing systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install plumbing materials.
- Follow all local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and team members.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Arrive on time each day with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Registered Colorado Plumbing Apprentice, or willingness to become registered (we will help the right candidate obtain registration).
- 1–3 years of plumbing experience preferred.
- Commercial plumbing experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure accurately.
- Knowledge of plumbing materials and inventory control.
- Strong work ethic, accountability, and communication skills.
- Must provide the majority of your own plumbing hand tools and basic power tools.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Must be willing to travel for out-of-town projects. Company housing is provided, along with hourly per diem and overnight per diem when applicable.
