About the Position
MVP School for Veterinary Professionals is seeking enthusiastic, student-centered educators to join our growing online veterinary technology faculty team. Our instructors play a critical role in preparing the next generation of veterinary technicians through high-quality online instruction, timely feedback, and meaningful student engagement.
This position is ideal for veterinary professionals who are passionate about education, mentorship, and helping adult learners achieve their career goals in veterinary medicine.
Primary Responsibilities
- Facilitate online courses within the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Engage regularly with students through announcements, discussion boards, email, and virtual communication.
- Provide timely grading and constructive feedback on assignments and assessments.
- Monitor student progress and identify students who may benefit from additional support.
- Maintain accurate academic records and adhere to institutional policies and procedures.
- Participate in faculty meetings, training opportunities, and curriculum improvement initiatives as assigned.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must possess one of the following:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD), or
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT, or equivalent)
In addition, candidates must:
- Have a minimum of three years of veterinary clinical experience.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be comfortable using educational technology and online learning platforms.
- Be committed to supporting student success in an online learning environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who possess one or more of the following:
- Veterinary Technician Specialty (VTS) credential.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Previous online teaching experience.
- Curriculum development experience.
- Experience mentoring veterinary technician students.
- Experience in specialty practice, emergency medicine, anesthesia, diagnostic imaging, laboratory animal medicine, large animal practice, or other advanced veterinary disciplines.
