General
As a Director of Engagement and Community Growth, you will:
Operations & Member Experience (50%)
- Serve as the primary liaison for member onboarding, engagement, and support, ensuring a welcoming and seamless experience.
- Oversee and maintain the membership CRM, tracking new members, renewals, and dues with accuracy and care.
- Generate and analyze monthly reports on key engagement metrics, including retention, participation, and satisfaction.
- Continuously refine and optimize workflows for onboarding, renewals, and member communications.
- Support leadership with board and committee meeting preparation, including scheduling, materials, and follow-up.
- Partner with the Executive Director to coordinate strategic meetings and initiatives that enhance organizational impact.
- Lead brand-aligned communication strategies to elevate visibility, grow membership, and deepen community engagement.
- Manage the organization’s digital presence across website, social media, and email platforms, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging.
- Design and execute targeted campaigns to drive member acquisition, retention, and re-engagement.
- Create and distribute engaging content—newsletters, social posts, event promotions, and announcements—that reflects the organization’s voice and values.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with external partners, vendors, speakers, and sponsors to expand reach and resources.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 3 years of experience in operational responsibilities in growing a National Association, membership, communications, and marketing roles.
- Performance: Able and willing to provide world-class service to all stakeholders
- Demonstrated strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Professional proficiency with online research and creative tools (Canva or Adobe Illustrator)
- Experience with CRM databases (HubSpot or Hive Brite preferred)
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing 20 lbs throughout the workday
- Comfortable standing, bending, and moving for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
- Awareness of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe workspace

- 80 PTO hours available after the first 60 days of service
- Medical insurance – 100% employer contribution, participating plans

- 401K – 120 days eligibility is fully vested with up to a 4% match
- Weekly payday, every Friday
- Quarterly profit sharing, up to 20% of annual wages.
- We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Offers are based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Starting salary – $70,000 - $75,000 annually
