Mission City Community Network is seeking a compassionate, community-focused Bilingual Bangla Community Outreach & Medical Receptionist to support our growing healthcare team in Koreatown. This unique role combines front office patient services with meaningful community outreach efforts, making it an excellent opportunity for students and aspiring professionals interested in Public Health, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Premed, or Community Health.

This position is approximately:
50% Medical Reception/Front Desk
- Schedule appointments and manage patient check-in/check-out processes
- Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
- Verify and update patient information
- Support administrative and clerical functions within the clinic
- Provide interpretation assistance for Bangla-speaking patients as needed
50% Community Outreach
- Build relationships with local Bangladeshi community members and organizations
- Assist with outreach events, health education activities, and community engagement initiatives
- Help connect community members to healthcare services and resources
- Distribute educational materials and promote clinic services
- Support patient recruitment and community awareness efforts
- Fluent in Bangla and English (required)
- Highschool Diploma
- Reliable Transportation
- Experience in healthcare office settings or current student/recent graduate in: healthcare administration, public health, premed, or related
- Ability to pass background check, drug test, and provide immunization and physical health records
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable, organized, and professional
- Comfortable with basic computer systems and office software
- Ability to work onsite in Koreatown during clinic's operating hours of M-F 8 AM to 5 PM
