Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate educational activities and play-based learning experiences for children.
- Support daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and bathroom breaks to promote comfort and well-being.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by following health and safety protocols diligently.
- Engage with children through interactive play, storytelling, and social activities to foster development and social skills.
- Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and needs to inform teaching strategies and communicate with parents.
- Support inclusive practices by working effectively with children with disabilities or special needs, ensuring they feel valued and included.
- Help manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and consistent routines to promote a respectful learning environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required to ensure immediate response to emergencies.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and engage positively with children and families.
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment while maintaining patience, compassion, and professionalism.
