Job Summary

Miss A is seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to lead the company's Human Resources function and support our rapidly expanding multi-state retail organization headquartered in Dallas, Texas. This executive leadership role is responsible for developing and executing HR strategy while partnering closely with senior leadership to drive organizational performance, talent development, employee relations, compliance, and operational excellence. The Director oversees Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Employee Relations, Workplace Investigations, Performance Management, Compliance, Organizational Development, HR Operations, and Company Policy Administration, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide strategic HR leadership aligned with the company's business objectives and long-term growth strategy.

· Partner with executive leadership and operations to support workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and succession planning.

· Lead Talent Acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, employee relations, investigations, corrective actions, HR compliance, and HR operations.

· Develop and implement HR policies, programs, and best practices that support a high-performing culture.

· Coach and advise leaders on complex employee matters, organizational changes, and leadership development.

· Oversee compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws while minimizing organizational risk.

· Maintain strong partnerships with Operations, Payroll, Benefits, Safety, and other cross-functional teams.

· Drive continuous improvement of HR systems, processes, reporting, and documentation using ADP Workforce Now and other HR technologies.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.

· 10 years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience.

· Extensive experience in employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, and HR compliance.

· Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.

· Demonstrated ability to develop HR strategies that support business growth.

· Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.

· Experience partnering with executive leadership in a fast-paced, multi-location organization.

· Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and HRIS platforms (ADP Workforce Now preferred).

· Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday and additional hours as business needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

· Significant Human Resources leadership experience within the retail industry is highly preferred.

· Demonstrated success supporting multi-location and multi-state retail operations is strongly preferred.

· Experience leading HR in a high-growth retail environment.

· SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.

· Must be able to sustain long periods of sitting throughout 8-hour shift.

· Heavy computer & telephone usage throughout 8-hour shift
