MISO is seeking an IT Disaster Recovery Analyst II to support and strengthen our enterprise Disaster Recovery (DR) program. You’ll collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to document recovery requirements, coordinate testing, and implement solutions that support regulatory standards. Your responsibilities as our IT Disaster Recover Analyst II will include:
- Developing and maintaining disaster recovery plans to ensure timely restoration of critical systems, applications, and data
- Planning and executing disaster recovery exercises, simulations, and tabletop tests
- Monitoring and evaluating DR tools, technologies, and processes for effectiveness and compliance
- Partnering with stakeholders to define recovery objectives, strategies, and priorities based on business impact analysis
- Creating training materials and providing guidance to teams involved in recovery efforts
- Documenting lessons learned, incident reports, and recommending improvements following tests or real events
- Contributing to broader business continuity and resilience initiatives
- Supporting and enhancing compliance efforts, including NERC CIP-009 program improvements
Skills needed for our IT Disaster Recovery Analyst II:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR five (5) years of relevant experience
- Experience in disaster recovery planning, implementation, and testing (enterprise environment preferred)
- Solid foundation in infrastructure and network fundamentals (routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers), with exposure to cybersecurity preferred
Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $85,000 - $101,000 USD annually. Base salary range for this position is included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, and qualifications/experience.
