Our Line Cooks play a critical role in delivering exceptional food and ensuring every guest receives a consistently outstanding dining experience.
What You'll Do
• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, presentation standards, and quality expectations.
• Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
• Properly label, date, rotate, and store food products.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion consistency.
• Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow kitchen team members during service.
• Assist with prep work, receiving deliveries, and inventory as needed.
• Clean kitchen equipment and complete opening, closing, and side work duties.
• Work efficiently during high volume meal periods while maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications
• Previous line cook, prep cook, or restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow recipes and standardized procedures.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Culinary training is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and work safely around hot equipment and sharp tools.
• Ability to work in varying kitchen temperatures.
