Job Summary
Miskelly Furniture is seeking a dependable and hardworking Customer Pick-Up Associate to join our warehouse team. This role is responsible for providing customers with a friendly, efficient, and professional experience when they arrive to pick up their furniture, mattresses, and accessories.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and provide friendly, professional service throughout the pick-up process.
- Taking merchandise pulled from the Distribution Center and carting it on to the Customer Pickup Dock.
- Verify customer information, merchandise, and order documentation prior to releasing products.
- Dress and communicate in a professional manner when servicing a customer
- Have the customer sign for pickup of the merchandise
- Physically load the merchandise on to the customer’s vehicle
- Properly secure the merchandise in the vehicle to prevent damage during transportation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, furniture, retail, material-handling, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to learn warehouse and customer pick-up procedures and systems.
- Strong customer service skills
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to lift and maneuver items that weigh over 100lbs.
Schedule
Tuesday - Saturday
10am - 7pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
