Gatekeeper ( 2nd Shift)

Position Title: Gate Keeper

Reports To: Production Supervisor

Position Summary

The Gate Keeper will be responsible for data entry into warehouse management system from paper documents. Attention to detail is essential, must be able to work with sensitive information and have the ability to maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Data Entry from production reports “paper documents” into warehouse management system

• Validate data entry against source documents

• Update existing data

Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested

• Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation

• Excellent organizational skills – sort, organize and file paperwork

• Ability to use common sense to find and solve process and paperwork issues

• Strong communications and ability to develop good working relationships

• Ability to work independently and show initiative

• Able to work with spreadsheets and create them to analyze information

• Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The individual should possess the following knowledge, characteristics, skills and/or abilities:

• Strong computer skills and working knowledge MS Excel

• Good interpersonal and communication skills, verbally and in writing

• Ability to maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality

• Extremely detail oriented with excellent organization skills

• Ability to manage a variety of tasks simultaneously

• Bilingual/Bi-literate (English/Spanish) required

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent, preferred
