General Laborer - 2nd Shift, M-Th (10hr Shifts) 2pm-12am

JOB SUMMARY:

To perform various tasks assigned by the department leads and managers, as needed.

Responsibilities:

· De-nest metal parts from laser

· Ability to manage multiple tasks, and organize and prioritize time effectively

· Assist the Shipping/Receiving Department by monitoring and inventorying supply level

· Collect parts from all departments and prep them for shipping

· Load and unload trucks, using necessary equipment, including forklifts

· Bring pallets of parts to brake presses as needed using forktruck

· Assist brake press operators as needed

· Assist the Laser department with fabrication and welding

Relationships and Roles:

· Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.

· Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, collaborate with others, solve problems and demonstrate high integrity.

· Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all departments.

· Basic math skills required.

· Basic computer skills, UPS and FEDEX software a plus.

· Good verbal and written communication skills.

· Must become fork lift certified.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

· Must be able to move between department and satellite buildings.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

· Continual walking, standing, bending squatting, reaching and twisting

· Must use PPE and safety toed shoes, and wear company provided uniforms.

· At times will be working in a loud, dirty and sometimes warm environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
