- Reporting to the General Manager of the property, the Food & Beverage Manager will oversee all culinary operations, inspire their team, and lead with thoughtful hospitality that ensures every moment of the guest experience is warm, intentional , and aligned with our standards of excellence and care.
- Pay Rate: $65,000 to $80,000
Job Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Guest Experience & Service Excellence
- Deliver a warm, elevated guest experience across spa and dining venues in alignment with Forbes and Mirbeau service standards
- Ensure prompt and polished food & beverage service property-wide, adjusting service execution to meet guest expectations and business demands
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all menus, beverage programs, spa offerings, and room packages to confidently guide guest interactions
- Proactively manage guest feedback, concerns, special requests, and complaints with professionalism, discretion, and effective guest recovery
- Recognize and appropriately manage intoxicated or disruptive guests, prioritizing the safety, comfort, and well-being of guests and staff
- Properly respond to, document, and report all guest and employee incidents, accidents, and emergency or safety situations in accordance with property procedures
- Collaborate cross-functionally with all departments to align F&B operations with property-wide guest service, ensuring an elevated guest experience that consistently reflects Mirbeau’s refined hospitality standards
- Attend scheduled management meetings, special events, and Banquet Event Order (BEO) reviews (as required)
- Collaborate with Sales and Events teams to ensure successful execution of banquets, special events, and property promotions
- Daily Operations & Floor Management
- Oversee daily FOH operations across all dining areas, ensuring smooth operations and consistent execution
- Manage reservations, guest flow, and floor plans to optimize seating, service pacing, and overall dining experience
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and readiness of all dining areas, service stations and BOH areas for each service period
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all food and beverage offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, presentation standards, and allergen information
- Ensure all food, beverages, and service adhere to published recipes and specifications
- Support staff with day-to-day needs related to service needs concerning equipment and food supplies
- Utilize POS systems accurately for order entry, check management, voids, corrections, and end-of-day reporting
- Team Leadership, Development & Performance
- Collaborate closely with the Chef de Cuisine to ensure alignment between FOH and BOH operations and seamless service execution
- Provide real-time coaching and mentorship that reinforces service standards, recognizes strong performance, and addresses areas of opportunity through supportive, solutions-focused conversations
- Conduct regular training sessions and staff meetings to strengthen product knowledge, sales performance, and guest service standards
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, respect, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with HR and senior leadership to address performance and disciplinary matters in a fair, consistent manner
- Assist with interviewing and hiring of FOH team members, and support onboarding and new hire documentation processes
- Administrative, Financial & Compliance Responsibilities
- Develop and manage FOH schedules aligned with business forecasts, service standards, and payroll budgets
- Oversee beverage inventory management including ordering, receiving, inventory controls, wine lists, and menu maintenance. Report any discrepancies to Director
- Review and analyze financial performance through daily sales and labor reports, monthly P&L statements, and departmental budgets
- Partner with the Chef de Cuisine on departmental planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reviews
- Provide forecasting figures to accounting accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of payroll on a weekly basis
- Monitor staff appearance, conduct, and professionalism to ensure consistent adherence to Mirbeau and Forbes standards
- Ensure consistent adherence to Mirbeau HR policies, payroll procedures, and operational standards
- Maintain full compliance with all federal, state, and local labor, health and sanitation regulations
- Qualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements:
- Education & Experience
- Associate’s degree or higher required; a degree in Hospitality Management or related field is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience in a high-volume, fine dining or elevated hospitality environment
- Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of Food & Beverage operations, including both front-of-house and back-of-house
- Leadership & Communication
- Strong, articulate communicator with exceptional guest service and team leadership skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and support teams while maintaining high service and operational standards
- Demonstrates sound judgment, composure, and professionalism when managing guest concerns or operational challenges

- Technical Proficiency
- Proficient in POS systems and computer-based applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and general office software
