We are seeking the most talented, newly licensed Massage Therapists in Tucson and the surrounding area to join our apprenticeship program.

Starting Rate: $18.00 per hour

Available Positions: Four (4)

Apprenticeship Start Date: Wednesday, July 1, 2026

This 180-hour (roughly 10 week) Massage Therapist apprenticeship is paid and available for those who have graduated from a Massage Therapy program in the last 12 months and with the goal of acquiring regular employment at Miraval’s award-winning Life in Balance Spa as a massage therapist.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working with one of our experienced licensed Massage Therapist Trainers, with the goal of building on and enhancing deep tissue massage skills learned in school, maturing massage strokes by elevating massage techniques.

This role will also provide exposure to our operation including, spa guest services, spa professionalism within treatment rooms, cleanliness standards, and hospitality culture.

A certificate of completion of the Miraval Apprenticeship Program

An opportunity to interview for a permanent massage therapist role at Miraval Arizona’s Life in Balance Spa.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Massage Therapist with valid Arizona license or pending Arizona licensing
• Graduated from Massage Therapy school within the last 12 months
• Ability to commit to a 180 - hour (roughly 10 week) program, in order to hone the craft
• Commitment to working with a mentor a minimum of 18 hours per week (Wednesday through Friday)
• Willingness to be considered for a Massage Therapist position, following successful completion of the apprenticeship. Future permanent employment with Miraval as a massage therapist is not guaranteed as part of the apprenticeship program.
• Ability to receive feedback with grace and learning in support of our feedback rich culture
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule including evenings and holidays
• Ability to lift, push and pull a moderate amount of weight (up to approx. 50 lbs.)
• Ability to stand for the majority of the shift
• Continuous authorization to work in the U.S.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
