Role Description
This is a remote contract position for a Senior Interior Designer. The role involves leading space planning initiatives, collaborating on architectural designs, creating detailed construction drawings, and executing interior design projects. The designer will also oversee FF&E selection and specification to ensure alignment with project goals and aesthetic vision, while maintaining quality and budgetary guidelines. This position offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to be involved in every stage of the design process.
Schedule: 20-30hrs/ week
Work Environment: Remote or hybrid if local

Qualifications
- 5 years of professional interior design experience
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design techniques
- Strong understanding of Architecture and Construction Drawings
- Experience with selecting and coordinating furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E)
- Exceptional project management and detail orientation
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with clients and team members
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Experience in commercial interior design, hospitality specific is a plus
- Proficiency in Revit, Sketchup, Rhino, or Bluebeam is a plus
- Experience in managing FF&E procurement and installation is a plus
- Experience in DesignSpec is a plus
