As a key member of our business office leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our business office functions, ensuring efficient and effective management of financial, administrative, and clinical activities across six skilled facilities located in two skilled nursing facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the business office operations, including but not limited to financial management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processing
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Analyze financial data and prepare regular reports to senior management and the Board of Directors
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and applicable laws
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements
- Provide guidance and training to business office staff to ensure effective performance and compliance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including physicians, therapists, and community partners
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Office Manager role, in a post-acute care setting
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and empower staff
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and develop strategic plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in financial management software and systems, including but not limited to Excel, QuickBooks, and PeopleSoft
