About the Role
MIRACORP, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Project Analyst to provide advanced project and financial management support to U.S. Department of Energy-ID programs. In this role, you will conduct complex financial modeling, prepare high-level reports for DOE leadership, and support oversight of major program activities. You will work closely with federal financial personnel to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight across budgets, schedules, and deliverables.

Essential Functions
Advanced Financial & Project Analysis
- Conduct advanced financial modeling and cost analysis
- Track project status, budgets, schedules, and deliverables
- Reconcile data across federal financial systems (STARS, PICS:NE)
- Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and decision-support materials for DOE leadership
Program Oversight & Coordination
- Support complex program oversight and university funding coordination
- Utilize advanced project management tools and methodologies
- Coordinate with DOE-ID and DOE-HQ financial personnel on high-level deliverables
Compliance & Strategic Support
- Ensure compliance with DOE financial processes and reporting requirements
- Identify issues requiring management attention
- Advise on financial system requirements, data integrity, and process improvements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR Associate’s degree and 7 years OR 9 years of direct experience OR Master’s degree or PMP certification (may substitute for 2 years)
- Expert proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
- Advanced Excel, Project, and PowerPoint skills
- Strong knowledge of federal budgeting systems (STARS, PICS:NE)
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills
