What are the responsibilities and job description for the Refinishing Technician position at Miracle Method Surface Refinishing?
As a Surface Refinishing Technician, you'll restore bathtubs, showers, tile, countertops, cabinets, and other surfaces to like-new condition using industry-leading refinishing systems. What You'll Do
- Refinish bathtubs, showers, tile, countertops, cabinets, sinks, and other surfaces using Miracle Method's proprietary refinishing process.
- Complete surface preparation including cleaning, repairs, sanding, masking, and priming.
- Apply professional coatings using spray equipment while maintaining high-quality finish standards.
- Perform fiberglass and surface repairs when needed.
- Protect customer homes by maintaining clean, organized work areas.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients.
- Accurately document completed work, materials used, and photos within our job management software.
- Follow company quality standards, safety procedures, and production expectations.
- Participate in ongoing technical and product training.

Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working with respirators, spray equipment, and hand tools
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work in confined spaces throughout the day
- Previous experience in painting, automotive refinishing, construction, cabinetry, body work, fiberglass repair, or a skilled trade is helpful but not required—we provide paid training.
