We are growing and have multiple openings within our Machine Operations division at our Gurnee, IL facility. Our Machine Operators perform all operations related to manufacturing of rigid and flexible products including production of products, setup of equipment, operation of machines, and cleanup of the manufacturing floor. This position is responsible for machine setup, production of bags and rolls according to standard operating procedures.

Job Description:
·Set up machines, prepare product, measure rolls
·Perform all operations related to manufacturing of rigid and flexible products including production of products, setup of equipment, operation of machines, and cleanup of the manufacturing floor
·Perform quality checks and troubleshoots problems as they arise
·Follow safety rules and maintain a safe and clean work area
·Maintenance and repair of equipment including motors, belts, pulleys, bearings, hydraulic systems, air compressors, heaters/stoves/furnaces/microwaves etc.
·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
·Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
·Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
·Ability to follow instructions/job directions accurately
·Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
·Excellent customer service skills
·Good communication skills (verbal & written)
·Ability to lift 50 lbs | Ability to stand for long periods of time
·Able to work overtime when needed – flexible work patterns
·Able to follow basic safety rules – use proper protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses) & follow safety procedures (e.g., restock supplies, enter data on computer)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
