Description of Duties
The selected candidate will perform a wide range of support responsibilities, including:
- Serving as the IT point of contact and SME for Finance, Treasury, and Banking systems involved in the S/4HANA migration, working closely with project teams, system integrators, and business stakeholders. This includes integration with other related enterprise systems.
- Collaborating with the system integrator, internal IT teams, and finance stakeholders to support configuration, development, testing, and enhancements for Finance, Treasury, and Banking processes.
- Rapidly gaining an understanding of current-state end-to-end Finance, Treasury, and Banking processes and helping map them to future-state S/4HANA processes.
- Participating in the review and testing of Finance, Treasury, and Banking activities across both ECC and S/4HANA environments.
- Supporting data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, testing, and validation for finance-related master and transactional data.
- Ensuring all system enhancements, modifications, and upgrades are thoroughly tested and documented.
- Collaborating with project and IT teams to improve project tracking, reporting, and analytical capabilities.
- Assisting in identifying training needs and supporting the creation and delivery of training for new functionality and revised business processes.
- Providing assistance during issue resolution, cutover activities, and post–go-live hypercare.
- Supporting best practices for system and process change management and documentation.
Minimum Experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience configuring and supporting SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA Treasury and Banking components.
- At least 5 years of experience configuring Treasury processes including bonds, money market sweeps, derivatives, and integration with Financial Accounting.
- At least 2 implementation projects involving Banking and Treasury components of SAP.
- Strong expertise in designing and delivering reporting requirements; experience with SAP Analytic Cloud preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience processing lockbox files and electronic bank statements in SAP.
- Thorough understanding of end-to-end SAP Finance, Treasury, and Banking processes.
- Hands-on experience in developing and reviewing functional/technical design documents, test scripts, and training materials.
- Experience supporting month-end and year-end processes in ECC and S/4HANA.
Desired Skillset
- Experience with real-time and batch integrations between ECC, S/4HANA, and external systems.
- Experience with background job processing for finance and treasury functions.
- Knowledge of postings related to ACH, checks, real-time payments, and digital payments.
- Experience integrating SAP systems with external agencies and banks.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Experience supporting brownfield migrations from ECC to S/4HANA, including cloud migration and transition from SAP GUI to Fiori.
- Experience developing test scenarios, scripts, and executing tests in ADO.
- Understanding of finance and treasury regulations applicable to public-sector environments.
Certifications / Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Information Systems (or equivalent experience).
- SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) certification strongly preferred.
Engagement Requirements
- Candidates should preferably reside within the Continental United States.
- Work will be primarily remote; occasional onsite presence may be required at designated Pennsylvania locations for key project phases such as Solution Confirmation, PI Cycles, SIT, UAT, Go-Live, and Hypercare.
- In-person sessions and equipment pickup will require travel to the specified locations.
- Adherence to federal GSA travel reimbursement guidelines is required when submitting travel expenses.
- Selected resources must complete onboarding forms, provide required background checks, sign applicable agreements, and follow all IT policies and standards.
- Camera usage during meetings and maintaining a professional appearance is required for virtual work.
- Resources must be able to report onsite within 3 hours in case of emergencies and be available for planned implementations or issue resolution as needed.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $111.00 - $136.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
