Now Hiring an Inspector for a Great Company in Kent, OH!Job Duties & Responsibilities:Visually inspect raw materials, in-progress goods, and finished productsUse calipers, gauges, and micrometers to measure productsCompare inspection results to quality standardsDocument findings in logs, charts, and formsSuggest adjustments to production processes or corrective actionsProvide feedback to supervisors and other staffEnsure corrective actions are implemented and conduct follow-up inspectionsWork with other departments to improve quality and safetyPosition is responsible for in process inspection, final inspection, control of nonconforming material, and record keeping within the Quality Department.Read and interpret part prints and air/electric schematics.Use various types of inspection equipment (i.e., ultrasonic thickness tester, digital calipers, levels, measuring tape, digital camera, torque wrenches, basic computer skills)Visually inspects material or product for cracks, pits, corrosion, poor finish, incomplete welds, weld splatter and sharp edges.Ability to inspect and measure various types of material and products and from various manufacturing processes such as: castings, stampings, laser cut blanks, press brake, welding, sub assemblies, electrical components, hydraulics, cables, plating, etc.Compare product with part prints, schematics, build specifications, quality standards and approved samples to ensure product quality and assembly suitability.Documentation of inspections in both written and electronic form.Performs all work in accordance with approved procedures.Identify nonconforming material and notify appropriate personnel and route material to next step.Ability to effectively communicate and document nonconforming material findings, and work with other departments to contain nonconforming material.Schedule: (1st) 6:00am - 4:00pm (Monday - Thursday) Possible OT FridayPay: $19.00 per hour (Paid Weekly)Employee Benefits:Highly competitive pay ratesHealth Benefits—Medical, Dental, Vision Optional Insurances$15,000 company-provided Life Insurance401k with 50% MatchUniformsReferral BonusesEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid HolidaysEarn-As-You-Go Paid Time OffThis position is eligible for raises during the 1st year of up to $1 at 90 days, 6 months, and 12 months totaling $3.00 per hour year 1.Take The Next Step Apply Today!Company DescriptionFounded in 1968, Minutemen Staffing is the cornerstone of The Minutemen Human Resource System, a group of HR-related companies headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio.
