Service Technician II - Security Systems - Access Controls, CCTV, Alarms, Intercom

The Service Technician II will take on more advanced service and maintenance responsibilities, including managing complex troubleshooting and system upgrades. This role requires a higher level of technical expertise and the ability to handle challenging service scenarios.

Responsibilities:

• Execute advanced maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for security systems, including integrated and high-security systems.
• Lead service calls for complex issues and provide expert solutions to ensure optimal system performance.
• Perform system upgrades and modifications based on client needs and technology advancements.
• Mentor and assist Service Technician 1 in troubleshooting and service tasks.
• Develop and implement best practices for system maintenance and service efficiency.
• Maintain detailed records of service activities, system changes, and client interactions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Valid US Drivers License

- Ideally 3-5 years of experience in servicing security systems with demonstrated expertise in advanced troubleshooting.

- Strong technical knowledge of security system components and integration.

- Proven problem-solving abilities and excellent customer service skills.

- High School diploma/GED and Knowledge of: Certifications and or experience with some of the following is a plus: American Dynamics, Genetec, Milestone, Lenel, Software House, S2, Software House, American Dynamics, SQL Database, IP Networking and Windows software configuration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.50 - $40.25 per hour
