What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at Minuteman Press?
We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our print and marketing team at Minuteman Press of Stow. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating clean, professional designs and seeing their work turned into real printed products for local businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Create print-ready designs for business cards, flyers, brochures, signs, banners, postcards, forms, and other printed materials
- Prepare customer-supplied files for production
- Make edits, corrections, and layout adjustments based on customer feedback
- Work with customers and team members to keep projects moving on schedule
- Review files for accuracy, quality, sizing, bleed, resolution, and print readiness
- Organize and maintain digital artwork and customer files
Qualifications:
- Previous graphic design experience preferred
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Strong layout, typography, and file preparation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced print production environment
- Portfolio or samples of previous design work preferred
- Positive attitude, team player attitude, good communication skills, and willingness to learn
