What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer/Production Specialist position at Minuteman Press?
Minuteman Press is seeking a graphic designer/production specialist. The qualified candidate should have experience in design, digital print production and/or signage production. The right candidate must have an excellent work ethic and be able to take direction with a positive attitude. We will be looking for attributes such as dependability, punctuality, flexibility and skills to help grow business.
Duties include: Graphic Design/Prepress, Print Production, and Customer Service
Requirements:
- Digital Printing and Bindery Experience or will willingness to learn
- Communication skills (written & verbal)
- Be flexible on responsibilities to perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain machine functionality and organization
- Able to multi-task while maintaining quality and accuracy
- Ability to follow processes and procedures accurately
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
Experience:
- Design/Prepress: 1 years
- Print Shop: 1 years
Software:
- Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
- Microsoft Office
- Fiery Command Workstation (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
Experience:
- Graphic Design/Preprss: 1 year (Preferred)
- Print Industry: 1 year (Preferred)
